What’s Been Happening
Here’s a rundown on what’s been happening lately!
Today Zukie (short for Zucchini) died, poor little bunny! One of the twins was holding her while she was dying, and Mom just said “Give her lots of cuddles and love until she dies.” We don’t know why she died, other than the twins read a website that said baby bunnies are really hard to keep alive. Probably, though, she was overfed by zealous surrogate mothers!
It’s been awful hot…but NOT AS MUCH HUMIDITY AS YOU OREGONIANS!! I’d rather have dry heat than wet heat, thank you very much! Thankfully, though, it’s not hard to sleep at night because of the a/c’s in our rooms! Also, our friends the H.’s invite us over sometimes to share their nice air conditioning (they have it in their WHOLE house, niice!), and we went to the library once. I’m hoping we can go to the lake again sometime soon! *hint hint in the direction of da Motha*
The H.’s have a Filipino girl living with them for the month of July, and they’d like to adopt her if they can (her name is Annie, BUT it’s pronounced Onnie!)…please pray for the Lord’s will in that situation!
Every Wednesday Mom has her baby-doctor appointments, and so far the baby’s doing pretty good! They’re keeping an eye on a couple things (growth being one of them).
Joe and I have been up to our necks in (website) work, which is nice! I’ve just about finished with the last client on our plate (so to speak…we’re not cannibals!!), but we hope to have two more before long! Listen, if y’all ever need a website…we’re your people! 
You know we got these cell phones, and we put my number on the ad and the website and stuff, well, Kate suggested, “You should answer the phone, ‘AJ Web Studios, this is A…’ ” :lol: I said I should have as my voicemail (I screen all calls if I don’t know who they are), “You have reached AJ Web Studios. If you’re looking for Dennis, call this number…if you’re looking for Ruth, call this number…if you’re looking for Ben, call this number…if you’re looking for Joe or Eric, call this number…if you’re looking for me, leave a message!”
A bit of good news: I had to have Eric drill a new hole in my belt to make it smaller.
Well, the crew wants cornbread with their chili for dinner…can you believe it?!? lol! So I better go do that! Good evening to y’all! Stay cool!
P.S. Since it’s been hot, I’ve been making iced coffee and stuff for Ben and I…if you have any good (tried) recipes, feel free to send them my way!

Oregon is not bad if you are from here, witch by the way you are LOL. You have to understand we are used to it. Plus, we have wonderful color here. It’s not brown and ugly LOL

Ice coffee. What I like to do is, take a blender and add milk, cold coffee, chocolate and ice. Blend until smooth. You are making a coffee smoothy. We buy them here alot. I just add enough to make it like a milk shake. The more you make, the better you get at it. I don’t have any recipe for it. I just got tired of spending $4 for them and decided to make them myself.Hope you enjoy.

LOL I may be FROM Oregon but that isn’t my home! (Montana isn’t my true home either. ;) ) Isn’t brown and ugly here either!!
Y’all just come in the…brown and ugly seasons! lol! Spring is lovely! Besides, we actually get SUN every once in a while, that’s more than you can claim, I think!! 
Mmmm, that sounds good! Only problem is, we don’t have a blender and our hexel machine broke.
Those from Costco are awful good!! Bought coffee (iced or otherwise) IS awful expensive!

Steven loves the blended coffees from Costco to.
Maybe you can get a blender at the second hand place. I see them quit often at ours.
As far as sun go’s, we have had so much of it here I’m getting head aches lol. I get those in the summer time :/ . Also, if we never got the sun, things would be brown here also. We have green all year round ( yes, even in winter lol).
So, yes Anne we do get sun.
I do think you are right tho. We have made it to your place in the hot hot summer and cold cold winter, but not in spring yet. That will have to be our next visit. I would love to see it then. ;)

Hm…maybe we will have to look at a resale shop for a blender! And for another hexel machine…ours is toast.
Awww, that’s not nice about your headaches! Joe gets headaches from the sun, too, if he doesn’t wear sunglasses.
Hey, that would be nice if you could visit in the spring!
When it’s just perfect temperature…and the flowers are out…and it’s all green.
