The Mice Do Not Like My Singing
Last night we cleaned out the “old” fridge and put the stuff in the even older fridge, one from Oregon (either Grammoo sent it or we brought it…one of them broke, and we don’t know which one!). (The reason we don’t use the “garage fridge” which it’s been re-dubbed, in the kitchen, is because it isn’t big enough and some of the racks are missing. But for extra stuff it’s nice!)
So, uh, where was I anyway?
Oh yeah…we cleaned out the “old” fridge. I adopted the job of standing in the garage with the garage fridge, putting the stuff from the “old” fridge neatly inside. Perhaps your family wouldn’t have needed a Refrigerator Coordinator, but ours does. Imagine six people putting a whole bunch of stuff in one fridge…well, maybe you shouldn’t imagine. It would just be…disaster. So yes, I was acting as Refrigerator Coordinator.
Standing out there by myself waiting for the other kids to bring stuff out, I felt like singing! So I belted out, “You are my sunshine” in the key of C. I hadn’t even finished the whole song, when what to my wondering ears should I hear? But the loud squeakings of mice protests. They did not like my singing!
I have never been insulted by a mouse.
But to prove I didn’t care, I sang “You are my sunshine” again in the key of D. And again, in the key of E. (That’s working up the scale, you see.) And I had very much fun!
In case you haven't noticed, my name is Anne, but in RL it's pronounced Annie. At this moment in time I happen to be 21 years old. Herein you will find: The rants, rambles, and otherwise uninteresting happenings in the life of...well, ME, you might say.

*imagines 6 people*shudders* stops imagining*
we have to have a coordinator of sorts, too.
Isn’t that such a sweet song?? The mice just don’t have any musical appreciation, that’s all! Besides, they are GUESTS. They should have better manners that complain about your singing.
I really only know the first part of the song… Because a dear girl sang it to me on my voicemail.

Haha, I love annoying my family with my awful singing. They have to tackle down me down in order to get me to stop.
