Thanks To My Brothers, We Are Now Fed Up

February 15th, 2007

As you all (should) know, yesterday was Valentine’s Day. Yesterday was also Beth’s recorder lessons, so Mom took Eric and Beth out to town in the late afternoon. I was going to have lentil soup (with yuuuumy sausage!) and cornbread, so I was hurriedly mixing cornbread and trying to get lentils started and sausage cut all at the same time, so I asked Joe to cut the sausage for me, and he did it without even complaining. Something HAD to be up, I just didn’t know it at the moment.

A little while later Mom called, after I’d gotten everything underway, and Joe, with a grin, told me Mom said not to worry about dinner. I knew something was up then. Unfortunately, I WAS worrying about dinner at that point, because due to um…Dad, the lentils burned!

Mom comes home and has five pizzas from Papa Murphy’s, with TWO chicken-bacon ones!! Those are my absolute favorite pizzas! Well it soon came out that it was the boys who bought them! We thanked them very very much and ate lots of pizza, and had enough leftovers for breakfast!
