It’s been a standing joke, though (somewhat) true, among our family and relatives that we exist on beans and rice. This impression is given for two reasons:
1. This past year we were afraid we wouldn’t have enough meat, so we went easy on that.

You know what bothers me (no you don’t so I’ll tell you!) is everybody starts holidays wayyy before they actually are! For instance, there were stores putting out Christmas stuff BEFORE Halloween! What’s the point of that?? Why not just celebrate every holiday in its own time, instead of rushing things?

You know what an enzyme is, right? Something that helps aid in your digestion. Here’s a new one for ya.
Earlier Beth was playing different versions of Auld Lang Syne (pronounced auld lang zyne). After a while, Joe asked, “What’s ‘enzyme’?”
We were like “uh…what?”
“You know, they’re singing, ‘enzyme’.”
