Simply Oven Baked Pork Chops and Rice
Their way:
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup long grain rice (uncooked)
1/4 onion, sliced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3-4 pork chops
salt and pepper (to taste)
Stir together soup, water, rice and 1/4 teaspoons pepper in a 3 quart casserole.
Add onions.
Salt and pepper chops and place on top of rice.
Cover and bake at 350* for 1 1/4 hours or until meat is done and liquid is absorbed.
Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes.
From here
My way:
4 cans cream of chicken/mushroom/celery soup
6 cups water
4 cup long grain rice (uncooked)
pork chops
salt and pepper
any other spices you like
2 9×13 pans
Stir together 2 cans soup, 3 cups water, 2 cups rice, a little salt, a little pepper, and any other spice you like in a 9×13 pan. Repeat for the other pan.
Salt and pepper chops and place on top of rice.
Cover and bake at 350* for 1 1/4 hours or until meat is done and liquid is absorbed.
Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes.
Now…I forgot onions, and it was good without it. I actually did four pans; two 9×13 and two smaller. It’s really good and really easy.
In case you haven't noticed, my name is Anne, but in RL it's pronounced Annie. At this moment in time I happen to be 21 years old. Herein you will find: The rants, rambles, and otherwise uninteresting happenings in the life of...well, ME, you might say.

LOl, I read the title of this three times as “Simply Over Baked Pork Chops…” in my inbox. I finally got curious as to the drama of a tale with such a name…only to find I read it wrong. ;-) Just a recipe, no drama! No over baked anything! Just oven baked recipes. *grins*

Maybe you should call it “12 Sardines in a can”
or how about “who forgot the plates?”

But…what if nobody forgot the plates?? or what if I haven’t even tasted sardines in my life?? (They sound interesting, though.
) I know! I should just call it, “Yummy Dinner.”
