Review: Acronym Replacer, Brian’s Threaded Comments, cForms II, No Self Pings
Acronym Replacer
This is a great plugin; I just don’t use it anymore because I realized I don’t really use acronyms very much on my blog! This plugin wraps acronyms (defined in the plugin file) with the acronym tag <acronym title="by the way">btw</acronym>. Works great, IF you like editing your plugins. Customization is done through the Plugins > Edit Plugins.

Brian’s Threaded Comments
This was the only threaded comments plugin I found. If I remember correctly, it was a little difficult to install. I didn’t like it that I had to replace my comments.php file, because as you can probably tell I edited mine! Likes: Threaded comments. When deactivated, degrades nicely. Dislikes: Even if I’m logged in, I had to enter my information which got VERY TIRESOME (that’s why I quit using it).

cForms II
Comment form. In a word: Awesome. Allows multiple contact forms with as many inputs as you need. Also has sectioning, so you can have different sections of your contact form. Comes stock with a bunch of style options (stylesheets), and is easily edited if you know CSS. The only (small) complaint I have about it is it said the credit line can be edited out, but the only way to edit it out is CSS. It’s not a huge deal, though!

No Self Pings
Handy, drop-and-forget-it plugin for not pinging your own blog! Good grief, why do *I* need to be informed I’m linking to one of my own pages?? Yeah. Pretty simple!

In case you haven't noticed, my name is Anne, but in RL it's pronounced Annie. At this moment in time I happen to be 21 years old. Herein you will find: The rants, rambles, and otherwise uninteresting happenings in the life of...well, ME, you might say.

I didn’t like the threaded comments one because it was javascript

That too, but that wasn’t the biggest gripe I had with it!

I have Cforms, but none of the others really appeal to me. I am a very picky plugin user ;)
I’ve posted a blog with a Cform in it, check it out, it is the first link in the post.
