Oops. Not really. That was an on-purpose mistake.

Palette Making

For Paint Shop Pro 7, although it will work (with modifications) in other programs. This is how I make palettes, and seems to work well.

1. Open Paint Shop Pro and find a color you want. I’ll use #C9E7D6 for example. Open MS Paint (Start > Accessories > Paint).

2. In Paint, double click on of the colors in the palette, then click Define Custom Colors.

3. Put in the Red, Green, and Blue of the color (in this case, it’s Red: 201, Green: 231, Blue: 214).

4. While still in Paint with the Edit Colors thing up, push Print Screen (or Prt Scrn, or something like that–directly above the Delete and Insert key).

5. Go into Paint Shop Pro and press Ctrl V to paste it. Crop off what you want. I just keep the color gradient on the right-hand side. Zoom in to see the colors better.

6. That’s basically it. You can do whatever you like with your new palette now! Have fun!
