It Never Ends
Tonight at dinner we were discussing how since we’re a large family, people always stare at us and comment about how we’re such a large family, etc. Joe was like “Argg!! Everybody stares at us! I hate being looked at while I’m eating! I’m the third of twelve kids! And when I get married people will be like ‘oh, what a cute couple!’!!”
Everybody laughed, and somebody said “It never ends!”
We started listing all the times people would comment or stare.
1. He has eleven brothers and sisters; people stare and comment.
2. He goes to the store and people comment about how his “kids” (younger sisters and brothers) are cute or whatever.
3. When he gets married, people will say congratulations on his being newlywed.
4. When he has his first kid, people will say “oh what a cute baby” and things of that sort.
5. When he has more kids, people will comment on how well-behaved they are.
6. When he has a lot of kids of his own, people will comment on how he has so many kids.
7. When he takes his last baby to the store with just his wife and himself, people will say “Oh, is this your only child?”
8. When he takes five of his boys to the store people will say “Oh, you have only boys?” when he’s actually got five more girls at home!
Poor Joe.
In case you haven't noticed, my name is Anne, but in RL it's pronounced Annie. At this moment in time I happen to be 21 years old. Herein you will find: The rants, rambles, and otherwise uninteresting happenings in the life of...well, ME, you might say.

People always say or think stuff no matter what so my advice is to comment back or just to ignore them. One can always find those commenting people and think of comment back to embarrass them and that usually does the trick.

I know the feeling!!! I’ve been asked several times since Zanna and Rachie were born if I knew I was having twins. or “Are they yours?” or “Are these your first?” LOL I can’t help but think its pretty obvious that they are not even mine when mom is standing next to me. :))
