I KNOW WHY IT’S BEEN RAINING SO MUCH!!!

Ahem. Excuse me! Hello! Know what? It’s been raining a lot here lately! Today I finally, at long last, know why! The JW’s are in town! Every year they have their conference thingy here in town at the Metra, and every time they monopolize the whole Metra and have tents outside and stuff, and every year it rains on them the whole time!

Jay, for his birthday on Sunday, received a bag of tootsie rolls. A whole bag. Well, someone (i.e. Dad or older brothers) told him they weren’t tootsie rolls, they are cat turds! So, whenever Jay wants one, he asks for a cat turd. Yesterday when the N.’s came for guitar lessons, Jay was telling Mrs. N. all about his cat turds in the wrapper!

Mom had another doctor’s appointment today, and Babyist’s doing fine! Growing normal and all. :D I wasn’t there, but Beth said they did the 3-D ultrasound, and she was cute! I want to go next time!! I remember the 3-D ultrasounds of Jay showed he had chubby cheeks…which he still has!

We’ve been expecting guinea fowl for the last couple of weeks. They were supposed to come in today, but didn’t, so they’ll probably be in tomorrow! This morning, Mom looked up on YouTube videos of guinea fowl, to show the girls who have never seen them. Any of you who’ve been to YouTube very long know how addicting it can be! Soon Mom was looking at more than just guinea fowl–the python that ate the crocodile, something about Shamu the killer whale, and how lions kill wildebeests and hyenas steal them. I was facing the wrong way (at Darren, which is across the room from Mother), but it sounded interesting!

I say, Ben Ebenezer Scrooge should buy a new pair of pants. Maybe I should have a fund raiser for him since he won’t do it! See, he’s really hard on his pants and his shoes. And everything else he comes in contact with. So, he’s always ripping his pants, especially in the one spot where his pocketknife goes in his pocket, his right pocket. That place always rips. He says it rips a week after he gets new pants! I believe it, too! It rips, we (one of us girls) patch it, it rips, we patch the rip AND the patch. Someone tell this boy to get some new pants!! I think we should start charging!

Today the girls had to go out with Mom to get Tess’ birthday gifts (and go to her appointment, but that was extra), so since I had already had a gift for Tess, I stayed home so I could start bread in the breadmaker (otherwise I’d probably have gone). Rase was so funny. He’d never seen me start breadmaker bread (usually Beth and the twins take turns), so he seriously doubted my breadmaking abilities! The loaf turned out beautiful, however, despite his fears! :D

This is the book I’m reading right now, Safely Home by Randy Alcorn. It’s a really really good book, and gives you a different perspective on the Church in China and other oppressed countries. Highly recommended!

Hm, let’s see, any other news I should post about? Oh yes! My cat developed a baldish spot on her back near the base of her tail. It looks like some hair was pulled out, and some fell out. Weiiird!

Before I go totally, this out from Joe’s blog. Funny!

I shall now bid you adieu!
