Happy Birthday to Jayden!!!
Today is Jay’s 4th birthday. *sniff* My baby’s growing up! (He’s not really mine, but I pretend!) He promised me he’d always sit on my lap, though, even when he gets as big as Ben! Eric thought that was pretty funny!
He’s getting to be such a big boy! In honor of his fourth birthday, Mom and Dad decided he can come in the kitchen and on the tile. (Dad doesn’t like little ones underfoot while cooking, or messing under the sink where we keep the cleaners, or pushing buttons on the dishwasher, so the littlest ones can’t come in the kitchen.)
Jay is a big meat eater…little carnivore! For his birthday dinner he had steak and french fries (the frozen kind that you cook in the oven)…it was sooo good! For his cake, he had ice cream cake–mint chocolate chip, my favorite!–with lots of yummy chocolate hardshell stuff on top!
He’s having so much fun…
“I can put stuff in the garbage!”
“I can get myself a drink!”
“I can get to the table myself!”
