Cute Clouds

Written for Paint Shop Pro 7; will work in almost any program that supports layers.

Open your graphics program, and either create a new graphic or open an existing graphic. Select the Draw tool, and set it to these settings:
Create a new layer and call it “Cloud”, then set your foreground color to white and your background color to null, and draw a single line across your image, like so:
Get the Airbrush tool, and set it like this. Depending upon how big your line is depends upon how big your brush is. 75 happened to work for me.
Click to make a circle to the right side of the middle of the line. It’s ok if it overlaps the line; we’ll clean it up later.
With the same tool set to about 55, make another circle to the left of the first one. Make sure the curve of the bottom of this circle is beneath the line.
Set the same tool to about 45 and make a circle to the right of the large one.
Now get your Selection tool, set it to Rectangle and make sure there is NO feather and Antialias is NOT checked. Then select everything beneath the line…
…and hit delete, then Ctrl D to deselect.
And you’re done! If you want to have a more transparent look, just lower the opacity on the Clouds layer. If you wish, you can also change the color of your clouds by using the Color Replacer tool.
