I was drowning in spam comments…well, not quite drowning, but they were pretty annoying…when Elliot told me about Akismet. Just recently they hit one hundred million spam comments blocked!
If you have Wordpress, I highly suggest you use Akismet!
Oh, and do you prefer a blog-type website, or just updates?

When I used WP for my blog, I installed a pluggin that asked the user to solve a simple math problem… a question would be something like ‘what is the square root of -1?’… er… more like 1+5
Anyway, that took care of my spam. But I guess the Akismet takes care of all your spam?

Yep, and it’s a good thing I don’t have one of those math ones, because I think I’d fail! (I did horrible in math in school.) :grin:
